I attempted to separate the covers into their own armor pieces (they have their own separate. nif files for the covers to be modified, they need to be their own armor pieces attached to nodes on the skeleton. I think I've narrowed the problem down to how looksmenu and armor interact. The suit changes fine, but if you add the mesh or plastic cover pieces to it on the work bench, those will ignore in-game body morphs causing your body to clip through them. I'm trying to get the in-game mods to work with looksmenu morph sliders, but I'm not having any luck. I've been messing around for a while with TheKite's CROSS Vault-Tec Slavesuit.
